The premature teat is suitable for premature babies and babies with a reduced sucking reflex. The extra small hole ensures that food never flows through too quickly; drinking is easier. The Teats of Dr. Brown's are made of very soft, clinically tested silicone. Due to the very soft texture and special shape, they lie perfectly in your baby's mouth. Replace teats every six weeks, or sooner if they show signs of wear.
Dr. Brown's has various types of teats. The difference is in the speed at which the power flows through. Phase 2 flows faster than phase 1, phase 3 faster than phase 2, etc. In the table you can see exactly which teat is suitable for your child. The ages mentioned are averages: every baby drinks in its own way, at its own speed.
